Financial aid is offered to participants in NASSS-sponsored panels at ASEEES conferences. Financial aid can also be sought from ASEEES; for more information click the link here.

GUIDELINES FOR APPLICATIONS

Applicants need to supply the following documentation:

  1. Original letter of panel/paper acceptance from ASEEES

  2. CV

  3. Abstract of paper or panel/roundtable description (in the case of the latter, please include names and institutional affiliation of the other participants, as well as titles of their presentations)

Applicants should email their request to the President of NASSS by April 30 of the current year. Applicants will be notified of the Committee’s decision by July 1.

THE RUŽICA POPOVIĆ-KREKIĆ SPECIAL FUND

Established in memory of Ružica Popovitch-Krekić by her sister Ljubica D. Popovich, the purpose of this special fund is to assist with the scholarly needs of members, associates, and contributors to the publications and conferences of the North American Society for Serbian Studies.

The special fund will be administered by the Executive Board of the North American Society for Serbian Studies (NASSS), to which proposals should be directed. To receive funding, the application must be approved by three members of the Board. Support may be allocated for a broad variety of purposes, including, but not limited to, textual translation, illustration costs, other special publication or conference presentation needs.

Tax-exempt contributions to the Ružica Popovitch-Krekić Special Fund are welcome and should be directed to the Treasurer of the North American Society for Serbian Studies:  Sonja Kotlica, 1301 Delaware Avenue SW, Apt. N112, Washington, D.C., 20024
